NTPC has been honored with the prestigious CII-ITC Award 2023 for "Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility''. Furthermore, the Corporate CSR Group has selected Sipat as the model station among all stations for site assessment of CSR initiatives. During this assessment, Team Sipat demonstrated exceptional dedication and proficiency. NTPC Sipat's unwavering commitment to community development played a pivotal role. The assessment, conducted from October 9th to 12th, 2023, allowed the panel to observe the direct impact of NTPC Sipat's CSR initiatives.

The five key interventions in education, health, renewable energy, livelihood promotion, and water conservation played a significant role. During the site visit, assessors visited various CSR sites including Parsahi Talab, Integrated Livestock Development Center, Mobile Medical Unit, Solar Panels, and Parking Sheds at MLS College and Smart class at the government school in Dhaniya village. These initiatives demonstrated NTPC Sipat's commitment to sustainability and community empowerment, addressing urgent socioeconomic needs. This acknowledgment highlights the critical role that CSR plays in bringing about positive change and reaffirms NTPC Sipat's dedication to building a more promising and sustainable future for all
